My name is Lindsay-Belle Blackburne.
I’ve written by entire life- poetry contests and newspaper opinions until an English degree and a career in video game journalism. I moved home to Alaska to help my father, support my family’s business, and raise my daughter.
And then came the accident.
An accident that broke ribs, my skull, my molars…that left me unable to think, work, walk or even read.
And a brain injury. A serious one.
I was told by doctors that those days- my days of living normally- were behind me.
I refused to accept that this would be the story of my life.
It took me a year to be able to read a sentence, and two to drive.
Two and a half years and I could use a computer.
Eleven months to write my first book…and one month to write my second.
I am now back to myself.
A working, writing, homeschooling mother in Alaska making my way to an agent,
to my first published book,
and then a career in writing.
Contact me.
I am currently seeking representation.
